Installing WLAN (WiFi) driver from the HP official drivers site might cause issues and does not appear in the Windows device adapters. So if that’s the thing follow the instructions below to fix it.

Prerequisites

  • HP

Solution

Step 1. Open the command prompt console as an Administrator.

Step 2. Execute the following command:

C:\Windows\system32>netsh int ip reset C:\resetlog.txt

Step 3. Now, execute the next following command:

C:\Windows\system32>netsh winsock reset

Step 4. Flush the DNS.

C:\Windows\system32>ipconfig /flushdns

Step 5. Restart your PC or laptop and the problem should be fixed.
