Prerequisites
- Amazon Linux 2
- sudo privileges
Install Postfix on Amazon Linux 2
Step 1. Update the Amazon Linux 2 yum packages.
sudo yum update
Step 2. Enable the EPEL repo.
amazon-linux-extras install epel
Step 3. Install Postfix.
sudo yum install postfix
Step 4. Verify installation.
postconf -d | grep mail_version
Output:
mail_version = 2.10.1
milter_macro_v = $mail_name $mail_version
