Prerequisites

  • Amazon Linux 2
  • sudo privileges

Install Traceroute on Amazon Linux 2

Step 1. Update Amazon Linux 2 packages.

sudo yum update

Step 2. Install traceroute.

sudo yum install traceroute

Step 3. Verify installation.

traceroute --version
